Ruth Ardella Orr, 73, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
Born December 25, 1943 in Harpers Ferry, she was the daughter of the late Edward Williams and Catherine Shell Williams.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Martinsburg.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Paul Richard Orr, Sr.; son, Paul R. Orr, Jr. and wife Kristi, of Hedgesville; two daughters, Bonnie S. Mason and (Terry) of Martinsburg, and Julie Dudley and husband, Joseph of Martinsburg; ten grandchildren, T.J. and Anthony Mason, Abbie, Jacob, and Ayden Orr, Mary Wright, Joey, Jr., Kaitlyn, Matthew, Olivia Dudley; six great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Margie Williams of Berkeley Springs, Janet Crouse and Joanne Bailey, both of Martinsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, twins, Noah, Nicholas, and Heaven Orr; three brothers Richard Williams, James and Arthur Wolford; and six sisters, Helen Decker, Genevieve Woods, Mary Canby, Anna Myers, Fletta Custer, and Evelyn Williams.
Family will receive friends from 7:00PM to 9:00PM on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Alder officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
