Obituary for William L. Myers Jr.

William L. Myers, Jr.,69, of Falling Waters, WV went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, January 11, 2017. He passed away at home.
Born in Shepherdstown, WV, on January 26, 1947, he was the son of the late William L. Myers, Sr. and Virgie Smith Myers of Shepherdstown, WV.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Myers of Shepherdstown, WV, and two sisters, Leona Long "Tiny" of Boonsboro, MD and Barb Jones of Baltimore, MD, and his brother in-law, Tom Long, Sr. of Boonsboro, MD.
Billy was employed for the Corp of Shepherdstown Water Treatment Plant from December 5, 1970 until he retired June 10, 2016. He was employed there for 47 years as the Water Plant Superintendent.
Billy was a member of the Christan Motorcycle Club as well as a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel. He was also a member of Hog of Harley Davidson. Billy was a member and president of the Sharpsburg, MD Ambulance Squad where he retired in 2009.
Billy was a huge NASCAR fan. He enjoyed riding his harley with his wife. He enjoyed fishing, and going to Ocean City, MD with his wife and children.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda K. Miller Myers of Falling Waters, WV. He is also survived by two sisters, Nina Myers Dutrow of Falling Waters, WV and Joanne Myers Duffey of Boonsboro, MD, he is also survived by his three step children, Ashley D. Mose of Sharpsburg, MD, Nicole K. Mose of Shepherdstown, WV, and Ernest E. Mose, Jr. of Falling Waters, WV.
he had three grandsons whom he adored William "Will Will", Dalton, and Ernest III.
Billy will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He will never be forgotten.
Services and interment will be private.
