Obituary for Peggy Virginia Newcomb (Housden)

Peggy Virginia Housden Newcomb, 68, of Shanks, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at her residence.
Born November 30, 1947 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Denzil Ervin and Lillian Fanny Jenkins Housden.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Lee Newcomb; three sons, Thomas L. Newcomb, Sr. and wife, Lavonne of Shanks, Marshall J. Newcomb of Inwood and William Douglas Allen Newcomb and wife, Candy of Shanks; three daughters, Peggy JoAnne Vesledahl and husband, Jeff of Hedgesville, Lura K. Green and husband, Eddie and Brandy Dawn Lynn Gilbert and husband, both of Martinsburg; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Denzil E. Housden, Jr. of Charlestown and William C. Housden of Summit Pt.; sister, Debby Knipe and husband, Steve of Martinsburg; brothers-in-law, Charles D. and wife, Shorty, and William T. Newcomb and wife, Patty; and a sister-in-law, Debra Sapp and husband, Joe.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry W. Rogers; daughter, Wallea V. Brown; great-grandson, Jacob Cogle; sister, Kelly Housden; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Newcomb.
Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home.
Services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the funeral home with Pastor David Davis officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
