Obituary for Zita Elizabeth McGarry
Zita Elizabeth McGarry, of Inwood passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born July 9, 1926, in Grange, Co Sligo and raised in Castlerea Co Roscommon Ireland. She was the daughter of the late Bryan Donnelly and Mary Naughton Donnelly.
She is survived by her youngest sister, Barbara Beatty of Inwood, WV; niece, Deirdre, (Sean) Connolly, of Inwood, WV; nephew, Conleith, (Leanna) Beatty; great nieces, Saoirse and Eibhleann; great nephew Hubert Beatty of Leesburg, VA, and Sean and Tom McGarry of NJ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Ireland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McGarry.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Leo Catholic Church, 2109 Sulphur Springs Rd, Inwood, WV 25428 with Father Alfred Obiudu celebrant. Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing, and follow directives.
Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.
