Obituary for Lela Marie Pike (Vanorsdale)
Lela Marie (Vanorsdale) Pike, 79, of Martinsburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Berkeley Medical Center.
Born October 27, 1941 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late James William and Mary Catherine Smith Vanorsdale.
Lela was a caterer and was employed with City Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Paul J. Pike, Jr. and wife, Diane of Hedgesville, Michael D. Pike and wife, Christina of Inwood; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren; two brothers, David W. Vanorsdale and Robert G. Vanorsdale; three sisters, Mary L. Butts, Margaret L. Butts and, and Patricia A. Graves; and several step-children.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Joseph Pike, Sr. and her second husband, Charles Avery Myers and brother Harry L. Vanorsdale.
Family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Home on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
Visitors will be required to wear face masks, practice social distancing and follow directives.
