Obituary for Jacklyn Lora Day

Jacklyn Lora Day, 68 of Charles Town passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 in the Hospice Inpatient Facility. Born September 22, 1951 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Bennie Day and Pauline Elizabeth Hull Day. She was of Baptist faith. Jacklyn loved to collect necklaces and bracelets. She loved to have her picture taken.

She is survived by two brothers, Wayne David Day of Idaho and Benjamin Elwood Day of Charles Town, three sisters, Karen Duke of Kearneysville, Debra Roberts of Salem, Virginia and Virginia Gesford of Martinsburg, nieces and nephews, Charlie, Susie, JR, Tina, Susan, Brian and Nicole, great nieces and nephews; Tyrell, Reggie, Jaaziah, Gabrielle, Michael, Olivia, Savannah, Mason, Brandon, Joshua, Jacob, Megan, Zachary, Jasper, Abel and Tana Rose. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her niece Melissa.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the Jefferson Chapel Funeral Home with the Pastor James Bishop officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
