Jane Virginia Snyder West, age 96, of Ridgeway, WV passed away January 7, 2020. Jane was born June 25th, 1923 in Hagerstown, MD to Howard and Pearl Elizabeth Snyder. She graduated from North Hagerstown High School and attended Hagerstown Business College. Jane worked at Fairchild Aircraft and volunteered at Washington County Hospital during WWII. Jane owned and operated The Music & Gift Shop in Martinsburg with husband Ron for 47 years. Jane was active in the Civic Theatre, The Follies, and The Soroptimist Club. She volunteered at City Hospital and was an active member of the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church. Her hobby was showing and breeding Keeshonden dogs where she founded the Capital Keeshond Club of Washington D.C. and was a founding member of the Shawnee Kennel Club in Winchester, VA. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Jane also loved her friends and church family.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband Ronald J. West; son Ronald J. West Jr; brothers Theodore, Paul, and Harold Snyder and a dear friend Dr. Maurice Vaughn.

Jane is survived by grandson Ryan West, wife Lindsey and great-granddaughter Laken. She had many special nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM January 15, 2020 at the Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church.
