Obituary for C. Douglas Keesecker
C. Douglas Keesecker, 88, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born February 16, 1931 in Fayetteville, PA, he was the son of the late Palmer Thomas and Elexie Elizabeth Stuckey Keesecker.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1949-1952. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
He taught 9th and 10th grade for Washington County Schools in Maryland.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Faye Hutzler and husband, Carroll; two nephews; two nieces and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Birdie Parkinson Keesecker; and three brothers.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Brown Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Lynn Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
