First, our message to you is this:
"We're Here For You"
Brown Funeral Home-Robert C. Fields and Sons, is a family owned, full service funeral home that has proudly served Martinsburg, Berkeley County and the surrounding communities of the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia since 1880.
Our funeral homes are Berkeley County's ONLY independent, family owned funeral homes. We serve the West Virginia communities of Martinsburg, Inwood, Hedgesville, Falling Waters, Berkeley Springs and Ranson-Charles Town from our Brown Funeral Home, South Berkeley Chapel, and Jefferson Chapel branches. Since we are centrally located in the Eastern Panhandle, our coverage also extends to Maryland and Virginia, which includes the cities of Hagerstown, MD and Winchester, VA. We are in close proximity to, and service, the metro areas of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.
Our full-time staff of licensed funeral directors, embalmers and pre-arrangement consultants is dedicated to provide caring and compassionate service to the families of our communities. Their integrity is augmented by adhering to The Code of Good Funeral Practice.
We welcome any and all questions you may have regarding funeral arrangements and pre-arrangements, community information, or comments regarding this web site. Please do not hesitate to call us at 304-263-8896, or toll free at 800-723-0254.
Considering Pre-Planning?
"Think of Me When..." (click on these underlined titles) for short, informative videos and endorsements about the concepts of pre-planning. We encourage you to watch the videos and seek out answers to the questions that may arise. We are always available to provide these answers and guidance in the pre-planning process.
"The Gift of Pre-Planning"
Brown Funeral Home is an official drop off center for Cell Phones for Soldiers. Please bring in your old cell phones to help our troops call home this holiday season. The old cell phones are recycled and turned into free calling cards for our heroes. To date VFMC Providers nationwide have collected enough old cell phones to provide our troops overseas with nearly 4 Million free calling minutes.
