Obituary for Bradley Wade "Jake" French
Bradley Wade French, "Jake", 52, of Hedgesville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Berkeley Medical Center surrounded by family.
Jake was born July 27, 1969, in Martinsburg, WV. He was the son of the late Clyde Oliver French and Charlotte Virginia Miller "Sis" French.
He spent many of his years as a self-employed carpenter, where many people will remember him for his work. His last employment was through Knauf Insulation of Inwood, WV.
Jake is survived by his daughter, Shawna French Markley and son-in-law Kenneth Markley; one brother, Clyde O. French, Jr., of Hedgesville; four sisters, Robin French Jenkins of Ashland, VA, Lisa French Frick of Martinsburg, Virginia Jean French Murphy of Martinsburg and Tonya French Brown of Martinsburg; two grandchildren, Zayden French and Julieanna Markley; many nieces and nephews and partner of 19 years Theresa Perry, the mother of his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde O. French and Charlotte V. Miller French and sister, Tammy French Huffman.
Jake will forever be missed and remembered by many.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be in Allensville Cemetery, Hedgesville, WV.
