Obituary for June Cottrell (Pleasants)
June Cottrell, 83, of Inwood, WV passed away on Saturday October 2, 2021, at Canterbury Center.
Born on June 16, 1938, in Cannelton, WV she was the daughter of the late Neil Pleasants and Margaret Kelso Pleasants.
June is survived by one son, Thomas R. Cottrell II; two daughters, Cindy Abshire and Robin White; twelve grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Katie, Caitlin, Jordan, Thomas Trey, Christopher, Shane, Trinton, Sophie, Jacob, Heisten, and Emily; one brother, Carl Pleasants; and one sister, Betty Jean Giles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cottrell; one grandchild, Alaina; and one brother, Neil Pleasants II.
Family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the chapel.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
