Obituary for Raymond John Delaney

Raymond Delaney, Age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 2nd 2021, at his home in Falling Waters, WV. Ray loved life and was loved by everyone that met him. Ray proudly served and retired from the US Navy, as well as with his company Honeywell.

Ray was the son of the late Charles & Frances Delaney. He is survived by his children: son Richard Raposa, daughter Lisa Hengemihle, daughter Beverly Battista & her husband Steve and his forever daughter-in-law Christine Kimes (formerly Raposa). Ray is also survived by his siblings: sister Frances Moran, brother Tommy Delaney & wife Bernadette, his sister Marilyn Busardo and sister Andrea Gehl & husband Gerry. Ray is survived by several grandchildren: Staci Battista & her husband Danny, Cory Raposa & fiancé Kaylin, Shalene Howland & husband Brodie, Toni Keeler and her husband Clinton. Ray is survived by his great grandchild Marloe Raposa, step great grandchild Olivia Van Camp and great grandson Maddox Keeler. Ray is survived by many nieces, nephews, foster children & grandchildren and his friends that loved him very much!

Ray was preceded in death by his brother Charles Delaney, brother-in-law Jimmy Moran, brother-in-law Ritchie Busardo and step grandson Spencer Van Camp and Ray’s ex-wife of over 20+ years that he loved very much Patricia Delaney.

No funeral services will be held, but at a later time a private celebration of Ray’s life will be held.
