Obituary for William Lee "Bill" Franks
William Lee “Bill” Franks, 75, of Martinsburg passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at his home.
Born August 28, 1946 in Martinsburg he was the son of the late Henry M. Franks and Marie Canby Franks.
Bill was a veteran of the US Army where he was honorably discharged.
He faithfully drove a dump truck for 35 years for BJ Hauling.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Rice of Hurricane, WV and Leslie Estep (Franks) of Martinsburg; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way; one sister, Jane Benner of Gerrardstown; several nieces, nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Brown Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Tuscarora Cemetery.
