Ernest Ray Nuckols, “Ernie,” 66, of Kearneysville, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the Jefferson Medical Center. Born January 22, 1954, in Fairfax, Virginia, he was the son of the late Samuel Leroy Nuckols and Donna May Miller Nuckols.
Ernie adored his daughters and granddaughters. He loved guitars, both working on and playing them, watching westerns, woodworking, and crafting.
He is survived by his wife, Rheanna Kay Sutton Nuckols; three daughters: Brenda and Raven Nuckols, of Kearneysville, and Ashley Nuckols, of Shenandoah Junction; two granddaughters Shyann Ennis and Shelby Baldwin; five brothers: Roy Nuckols, and wife Louise, Roger Nuckols, and wife Karen, Robert Nuckols, and wife Tammy, Mark Nuckols and wife Beannie, David Nuckols, and wife Trish; sisters: Wanda Breeze, and husband Mitch, Connie Hawes and husband Bob all of Virginia, and Nancy Monks, of Texas, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanie Beamer.
Services and interment will be private.
